An initial consult is required prior to beginning any training program. In a 90-minute initial consult, we will review and prioritize your goals, answer your questions and get everyone started off on the right foot… or paw.
Home School Programs
Home School is like having a personal doggy tutor. During lessons we will teach, practice, and proof new behaviors for you, then send you Pawgress Reports. Once weekly review lessons in your home are when we show you how to maintain those new behaviors, and are key to this learning process! You will still have homework, we’re just cutting that work in half.
Most programs are built to cover 30 lessons across the course of two to three months, plus additional refresher/follow-up lessons to be used as you need them.
Home School consists of lessons throughout the week where our trainer comes to your home (like a dog walker) to work directly with your dog while you’re away, and built in Family Lessons to help bring you up to speed with what they’re learning regularly.
If you’re struggling to find the time to teach the important foundational skills needed to really start making progress, this option was made for you.
In addition to teaching your dog some foundational skills, in each lesson we’ll also make sure your dog is enriched, and ready to take on the rest of their day. It’s so much easier for your dog to retain information learned in their familiar home environment, so you’ll see reliable results more quickly than with a board and train program that lacks the in-home context your dog needs!
